Leonard R. Curington, age 70, of Rapid City, died on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He entered the US Air Force in 1958 and honorably served for 23 years and 8 months. Leonard retired from active duty in 1981.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Small, Rapid City, one son, Billy Curington, Rapid City, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City with Fr. Bill Zandri presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with military honors performed by the Ellsworth AFB Honor Guard.
